I was fighting the E-locker for the longest time, the wiring crapped the bed, then the motor ingested water and was way to corroded to repair...so I picked up a used one at work and we are back in bizness!

What kind of rotors are those?

Also, I see the anti rattle clip is sticking out quite a bit. My 231s came off a Sequoia and initially I used new OEM clips, but ultimately switched them out with a Raybestos kit (H15506A) and the clip was/is almost flush with the top of the pads, which keeps the pads closer to the rotor without touching them. Just something to check out.

I am thinking my dealer gave me the wrong ones when I asked for a pair (wouldn't be the first time).

Those are the rotors that came with the Powerstop kit on Amazon
Power Stop K2324 Front Ceramic Brake Pad and Cross Drilled/Slotted Combo Rotor One-Click Brake Kit : Amazon.com : Automotive

I am not a fan of the pads, but I am running them for now. I will switch to OEM pads in time. The rotors are awesome though! They are coated in something, maybe zinc based? So they aren't rusting at all where you would normally see it; along the hub and in the fins. Just makes for a cleaner look

Thanks for the tip on the anti-rattle clip, I am still concerned about how far the clip sticks out, although there is plenty of clearance, just seems like it could pop out on its own pretty easy!

I appreciate the interest!

The wheels should arrive this coming Monday, I will install them that evening, and there will be plenty of pictures!

Alright. I'll be waiting for the review. I'm going 255's. The question now, wheels: 16x8 or 16x7.

I will be sure to do a thorough review. As for wheels, as much as I want a 7" or 7.5" there is just not that much support in that size. If I start to destroy these SCS wheels too quickly, I may make the jump to to 315's a little earlier than I had planned. But we will see!

I figured if I really need 7" or 7.5" wheels, I'll just pick up some fj steelies or 5-stars.

LOTS OF PICS Haha

Well this happened today. We got them mounted up at work this evening, so it was too dark to get any good shots. Just a shot in my garage under nasty lighting. So just a preview, I will get some shots tomorrow morning

Glad to see that they arrived on schedule, now about the "plenty of pictures" part.....

Those are the flat black version, right? I'm curious to see how they'll look compared to the gloss black on Rickashay's 4Runner.

Hey now, I will get you some pictures tomorrow! They are the matte black, so not quite flat.

Okay a couple more shots for you girls. It started raining this morning so I couldn't get nearly as many as planned

Meh...... The wheels look okay, I guess.

I'm kidding. The new setup looks functional and it's a big improvement over the old wheels. I think you're one of the only non-picture-whore members on this site. We ask for pictures of the new wheels, and you post a picture of the front of your truck.
