DOWNPOUR11's Build Thread

lol I'm hoping I've thought it all through for 35's.... new gears, ball joints, trimming, tubbing, what else... I'm spacing it.. my mind hurts from work today.

Don't forget Tundra brakes, power steering cooler, and auxillary transmission cooler.

Update.
9 wraps installed, top outs installed, rear sway bar removed. Didn't have time to install ball joints. Hopefully soon. Tomorrow: Diff drop and removing the front bumper valance.
Turns out I was missing a washer on the bolt on one side of my panhard bar and with driving the past week, the nut unthreaded itself and I lost the bolt. So, that has been replaced.
Pics tomorrow morning when there is light!
I'm sitting ground to fender 42" in front and 44" in back with 35's.

Lots of pics please?

Yeah I need to take more than 3 pics this time lol I'll get some good ones.

Also my IFS is maxxed out! Obviously. But I need to replace boots and CV's anyway. They are olllld, I don't think they have ever been replaced in my 4runner's 377k mile lifetime.
Gonna sell the 882's and 90004's and top plates probably next month and grab some coilovers.

So, next on the list is to install my new ball joints, buy the 5.29's and possibly a rear locker, find and buy tundra brakes, sell the OME setup and buy coilovers. Then as bandit runner suggested, power steering cooler and aux tranny cooler. Then other mods along the way... outdoor logic front bumper, new front sway bar bushings as mine are rotten, diff breather, extended panhard, HID's, tint, sliders, rear bumper, head unit and speakers and amp kit so i can re-install my memphis M3's and amp and the list goes on and on. I just gotta keep getting bonuses on my paycheck and I'll be on track.....

Teasers til I get some better pics today... gotta run some errands. And yes, all my pictures have been from the same parking space in front of my apartment lol I'll get different ones later today.

You should get a hold Steve Schaffer the group down there has been monthly trail runs. They did Lake Pleasant to Crown King Yesterday. Their a good group to wheel with.

The 4runner looks good.

Sweet let me know how you like the 882's/ the topout spacers.

I was driving all day today doing a bunch of random stuff. They actually ride smooth for how heavy the spring rate is but I don't mind them at all. Definitely replacing the CV's and tie rods. I'm hoping to get my ball joints on soon, I'm just staring at them on my bedroom floor. Diff drop still needs to go on....

Those 35's really filled the wheel wells..even with the 9 wraps installed...

There is actually a lot more room than what it looks like in the pics. I'll get better pic's and side shots tomorrow after work.
I have more clearance in the back than I did running 285/75/16's with 891's on my 2000 4runner.
I just need to work on the front end now. Clearance isn't the issue there.... hahaha

Looks good, but we need more pics. Are you running a body lift at all?

Thanks. Nope, no body lift.
I'll get pics, just been really busy with work. I'll try to get pics on thursday, I can't tomorrow cuz I have plans after work. But soon..... soon... all apologies.

**** is SICC! Very impressive, makes me feel inadequate. Haha keep up the good work brother. Wish that was my view, I wanna live in the desert. I drove by the Palisades house on friday night. Lots of those houses are for sale up there.

Thank you thank you
