I'm actually going to look at some 38's tonight…. guy wants $200.
They are SSR's which I'm not too stoked on (2ply booooooo), but shit, $200… some grooving might make them somewhat decent. Also, a friend has a set of 15x10 beadlocks with 2.5" bs which is what I need anyway.
We shall see what kind of condition the tires are in….
Edit: Well nevermind - as I was on my way up there, he sold them out from under me. "Yeah no problem, I get off at 4:30, just head up here at 6 and call me on your way up." ……

High Lakes again. Snow was a tad better, but not much. Most of it was gone anyway until we got to the peak and down to Spring Valley lake. Storm showed up around 6pm yesterday and it poured rain all night. Super.

Picked these up for $150 today, couldn't pass em up. 15x10 5x5.5 2.5"bs Allied beadlocks. I'll save them for when I grab some 37's. One has a dent on the inner bead, but it's fixable and still holds air as it is. I need to grab some grade 8 hardware as the hardware it came with is crap. Might have my friend make me some new rings as well. Pretty stoked!

Went to the Wheelers for the Wounded run up at High Lakes yesterday. No snow, but had a lot of fun and met a lot of people. Awesome people, and awesome food.

Yeah there was no snow anyway. It's literally only snowed up here four days this year. So that snow doesn't even count. It's three weeks old, not even a foot.

FINALLY, we got some good snow yesterday.

Like I said in our PM's - when you drop the crossmember, tack weld it onto a sheet of metal before you cut it in half so it'll bolt it back up once you've notched it. :cheers:

Yup, interested to see what you do, or even if you just buy a prefabbed xmember.
So… tomorrow my truck will have a rear bumper for the first time in over 3 years… only for a fix-it ticket though lol

Si senior. It's a friends old rear bumper from a second gen runner, he's letting me borrow it. It's two aftermarket bumpers put together, not sure what companies. I'm just tacking it on so I can cruise to CHP and get the ticket signed off.

So, I had no idea til yesterday, but that guy lives 15 minutes away from me and my friend actually built that truck lol. It's a monster, very cool truck.
