Your truck has a beautiful stance now! I am wondering if I could fit 35's in my wheel wells. That rubber is absolutely awesome. I am going to try and go less aggressive on my next pair, but those are certainly nice!

Ah you're right. They must have discontinued the smaller sizes of the ND. You're running the tundra 17's right? That would be a pretty wide 33". I have 2 friends running the 40" IROK's, another guy I know is the shop owner of that place I went and made those bumpstop lowering brackets. He builds custom bronco's. He swears by the IROK's, he got all excited when I told him I was throwing some on. I dunno, both tires seem to be the exact same (talking radials). The only difference is the ND has one side of lugs in reverse, so there is traction when in reverse as well. Basically, the regular IROK's have the best traction going forward, and the ND's are the best of both worlds, sacrificing a slight bit of forward traction. That would be my understanding. :shrug:

Damn, thats such a sharp looking tire. I would love to step up to 35s but i just drive my truck too much to take that kind of hit on fuel mileage. I know, I know, i shouldnt be worried about mileage on a lifted SUV, but any bit i dont spend on fuel can go towards other mods. Good luck this weekend and get those tires broke in proper, IROKs tend to get better and grab harder once they have a little wear on them.

Lol I know! Man, I'm drooling over Todd and Kurtis' beadlocks. I was thinkin yesterday, first the LED bar craze, now hopefully a beadlock craze - It gets better and better! You should be the first to get those tundra 17's beadlocked...

You might look into the 295/70r17 Cooper STT's, awesome tire and middle ground in size @ 33.45x11.8. Not sure what they weigh though.

Alrighty - just got back from the Gold Lake trip which was awesome. Camped and ran snake lake trail with Jon, Having Fun, 4Rnnerfan, and cmj. Some pretty hairy spots on that trail. The rest of the guys have a lot more pictures and video. So here are some of my shots and one Sam had texted me.

Leonard (Having Fun) pulled a bead. Way too steep where he was at to fix it, so he finally made it to a more level part of the trail and he re-seated it real quick.

Me: Came down hard on my passenger rear link and mount



Sam: Dented gas skid even more lol

Chris: Dented rear quarter panel, busted a little of his bumper but no big deal.
(glad he got his sliders installed the night before the trip)

Jon: More funny noises coming from front diff...

Leonard: Pulled a bead, put his running boards to use, and LOTS of underbody
dents, hopefully no damage.

No you would have been pissed lol... these damn bro-ski's in their f***ing wakeboard boat kept cruising right by the edge of the lake over and over again while Chris and Jon were trying to fish. Bunch of d-bags.

Leonard and his friend did a little fishing at Snake Lake and his friend caught a decent sized trout though.

Tires were awesome. Really glad I got them on before the trip - I more than likely would have popped my MTZ's that were on the rear. I was aired down to 7psi, maybe a tad lower. They're everything I hoped they would be on the rocks.

I think he was at 7 or 8psi? Leonard can clarify.

He caught it on a rock, heard the burp, then when he came off it the tired pulled. You should see the underside of his truck, he rocked it that trip! +1 for full skids lol
