fml, going on DAY 2 at the dealer letting them try to figure the alignment out... im gonna get every damn penys worth of that $98.95 alignment...
If you did the first weekend of october... I'd be there
its not what they did, its what they cant figure out.... i replaced all my IFS with new stuff, the only thing i didnt change was the UCA/UBJ and the eibach coils, EVERYTHING else is new. and now nobody for the life of them can get this thing to not either do that or duck foot, its either massive toe out or toe in or crazy camber with a slight toe out... its spent all day today at the dealer on and off the rack multiple times, i feel bad for the guy whos doing the work cause hes only getting paid for one alignment lol. we are starting to wonder if its just some super crappy bushings in the new lower control arms, and so today i bought a set of poly bushings(didnt really want to cause i didnt want the squeaking of them but its worth a shot)

i might have to take you up on that, one of mine was bent pretty bad hit a rock, and also bent the front mounts for it, but we used some heat and a porta-power and pushed it back strait. but the LCA is a little tweaked. the LCA arent that hard to change out, i mean i can have them out in like 30 min a side on a lift. its just a matter of unbolting the lower strut mount, and removing the LBJ and pull the cams.Weiirrrrd. Hopefully that solves it. Yeah my first thought is obviously LCA's too. I have my stock ones still. If nothing works and you start switching shit out I can send them to you to try. Big PITA for you though swapping them.
its not that they are doing crappy work(i dont think), my father inlaw is the senior tech, shop foreman, and been working there for 20+ years, although he refused to do alignments so some other banana swinging monkey is probably doing the work, but if this goes long enough i think its gonna be a bunch of poo flinging monkeys... as none of the other guys have any experience with lifted trucks, and toyota only gives spec for stock. What do they have a bunch of drunk monkey swinging their bananas around aimlessly???? I don't do alignment professionally but know enough to know when the retards operating the computer have no idea what their doing. Apparently they don't know what the term caster camber toe is!!! Adjust the caster so it is close. Fine adjust the camber. Fix the toe check it all. Done!!!

honestly i think its the bushings in the LCAs as on sunday when at my father inlaws shop at his house we would do the old tape measure alignment and get it close with the eyeball and then drive it, and it would become way off. -i think im gonna start my own thread to discuss this so i dont cloud up this here...
Wow..This rig is just irresistible to look at, and it's not even doing anything but sit on the driveway!
Can't wait for the next chapter when it goes wheeling,op2:
