Sick!
Now that you have had some highway miles and an amazing first trail ride, what would you change, or would've done differently?
i.e. spring rates?
Ridiculous build man. I love it.
Well, there's nothing I'd really do differently per se. But yeah, spring rates. I'll get the truck weighed. There's a feed store in town that has a scale I can use, but I'll be running these springs I have on now for a while. They're not too stiff, I like them. Body roll is minimal but I can get it to lean around turns if I want to. It's extremely smooth on the highway. I'll switch springs when I get the coilovers tuned.
If I REALLY wanted to do something differently, I would have put 16's up front and gone through the fenders and put 14's or 16's in the rear and sacrificed the rear cargo space LOL. BUT, this isn't that kind of build.
Perfect. Any plans to armor your butt? That thing is a beast. I love how you did everything. I feel like it wasn't long ago that you had that thing near factory. That piece of land looks like endless fun as well!
BTW, how do you like the 5.13's?
Yeah it's getting a full interior cage and a rear bumper at the same time. Went back to the drawing board and I'm going to have MP'S build it. We're going to design it. My buddy Corey wants to build me one like his, which I really like and it incorporates full rear quarter panel protection and it's a spare tire carrier.
I really like the 5.13's btw
