Back at High Lakes last weekend, more shenanigans as always.
Pulled into my driveway yesterday and my drivers side hub decided to fall off the truck and roll in the opposite direction lol Installed the Warn Premiums I had in the garage last night.
Headed to the Ultra4 Championship in Reno this weekend, pretty excited.

Not that bad actually. I'd like to find some colored film for the lens though, an amber, blue, or green to see how each cuts through dust. Dust and snow suck with any light bar.

That's just Spring Valley, before Long and Campbell. I was at Long a couple weeks ago and it is really low right now. Hoping we get some snow this year.

Haha, yes, I kind of am. Haven't been on in a while, been very busy. Runner is still doing good, wasn't able to get out much this summer due to work and some annoying maintenance with the runner but all is well. Looking to buy a built buggy hopefully by the end of the year. I'll post it up when it happens. Hope all is well in SoCal! :cheers:

Update - rear upper frame side link johnny joint failure on Sunday. Spun the rear axle up and broke both coilovers haha. Driveline u-joint somehow held strong. +1 to Toyota OEM u-joints. I ordered a pair of Radflo 14" 2.0's from 4WheelUnderground on Monday. Brian is the man if you ever need coilovers or a Toyota link kit. Brian is going to tune them a bit for me, so it'll be a much nicer and responsive ride. Going to be a couple weeks til I get those and fix the issue. Also replacing the TG joints I have on my links for some Currie joints. These ones are just getting worn anyway. Been 2 years or so.
Everything is leaking, got some new parts coming. Engine is still holding strong. I'm at 439k now.
Still trying to put away money for a buggy.
Boss is racing legends class Ultra4 at hammers this year so he is finishing up the car. Greg from Raceline is sponsoring him as well as Yukon. Very cool people. Car just finished a complete rebuild for spec with some 3.0 ADS coilovers and a basically a new chassis to comply with new spec of 2" tubing. I'll post pics in a bit. Now just tuning it in. Going to be a fun year!

Well.....update.....
Buggy fund is now being redirected to rebuild the 4runner again.
My boss/friend decided to part out the Ultra4 car and go another direction for now until he changes his mind and buys/builds another.
So I uhhhhh....bought his axles.
He bent the front 60 at hammers so he bought a brand new Solid 60 and new internals, then decided to part out the car, so I bought everything.
Here's what's going in the 4runner:
Brand new Solid Dana 60 (driver drop kingpin)
New Yukon Competition Zip Locker
New Yukon 5.13's
New Chromo Yukon Shafts with Super joints (two sets of axles and super joints)
Crane Knuckles
Reid KP bushings
and all the other fun stuff on a 60 including some slotted rotors, fine thread studs, etc.
Shaved and trussed 14bolt with Yukon Chromo shafts, and a spare set of chromo shafts
Yukon Grizzly Locker
Artec pinion guard
Disc brakes
Shaved 5.13's and a brand new spare set of shaved 5.13's
Going to be grabbing some Radflo's for the front since I love the ones I bought for the rear after that Johnny Joint failure, and air bumps for all four corners.
Also need to grab another PSC hydro assist kit - I ended up using my old one on this 99 tacoma 60/14bolt SAS I bought for my GF last month.
Also ditching the shitty Trail Gear johnny joints for Currie JJ's all the way around.
I will be doing 7075 Aluminum links because we have a hook on some through LetzRoll Offroad... and I might as well since all this other bling bling is going on the runner.
Tcase..... wanting to do a Blackbox Titan to a Ford NP205. I can get an adapter plate but I need to figure out if the shafts will work to my tranny. Otherwise it'll be an Atlas II, I just hate how they shift.

Need to recoup $$$ to start the rebuild. And the Taco I bought for my GF is next in line at my friends shop, getting caged. Prob be end of summer until this rebuild starts.
