Was talking with my friend rideexileex on this supercharger thing... went with the same setup he is running. He was able to map it pretty well and it runs great now as he had issues with the URD kit for quite some time.

So I picked up a set of 3.0L Supra/SC300 325cc injectors along with an AEM F/IC-6 fuel controller. AEM has excellent customer support and tech and has the software downloads for this module on their website.

Even though AEM is based in California, not one vendor will ship this thing to California LOL. Had it shipped to my dad's in Tucson, and he will ship it up to me.

Injectors + AEM controller = basically same price as a URD kit. I am in it $366 + $390 = $756.

I'll give it a whirl once the truck is done. Might just take it to a shop with a dyno and have them tune it once I install it.

4link is dialed and all tacked in

Those are bias 42" PBR's..doesn't really look like it.

Wheelbase is right where i wanted it at 118"

Going to chop the rear frame off and build a new one out of tube. Coilover is just too tight in there, plus since we are chopping out the floor he will incorporate a cage for the tank, as well as a very flush rear bumper.

Also if anyone near me wants my old Outdoor Logic front bumper make me an offer. Note, the sides have been trimmed about 4" or so from when I put 37's on it. Pretty sure it was the second one the ever made lol but obviously you can't get them anymore.

Sending you one as well. :biggrin1:

Rear 4link is done, very happy with how this came out. Time to chop the rear frame off.

Stopped by my friends shop yesterday to see how his FJ is coming along.... I'm not a fan of FJ's but I really like this one lol

60/14b, 5.38's, chromos, slugs, yukon comp locker up front, welded rear, fox 14's, bumps, interior cage, etc.......

URD Stage 3 Supercharger kit with the Borla catback
**402hp to the wheels** on 43" sticky TSL's

Trail only rig. It is way cool. I'll post some wheeling pics once both our trucks are done, along with all the other guys.

Haha yup. He bought it salvage title because part of the roof and quarter panel was crushed...wasn't that bad though as he's already fixed it. He's always had buggy's etc, also a 400hp RZR, awesome toys, the FJ will see some nice damage he doesn't care. It's all about that comfortable enclosed cab.

I'm betting his view angles won't be that great... It looks awesome, but I wonder how practical for rock crawling... Unless it's a snow beast, then never mind

I wanna (along with others) see your project move... Maybe as fast as that FJ?

It's a family rockcrawler and snow wheeler, if he can't see he will cut something and fix it. I hear ya though, ive driven an FJ and i cannot stand it. Blind spots left and right, diagonal, and every way imaginable.

I think sooner or later he will jump back into a badass buggy build.

Dude...tell me about it.... My build has been in the ultra-slow lane it's really really frustrating. Too bad i'm extremely patient. :/ Yeah... I got nothin' ... It's killin me right now lol

Slowwww progress....

Figuring out the steering, prob can't use the FJ80 box so I'll grab another IFS box.

Panhard brackets are on their way, otherwise the front 3link is all tacked in.

Otherwise whole lotta nothin' to report. These wheels are sick. Rear wheel isnt on the hub so it won't be as wide as it looks.

Going to look burly with the 2.25" aluminum links. We chopped up my old 1.5" links for mockup.

Wow... Still slow progress. Trying to make the Marlin Round Up in September. Fingers crossed. Just still a lot of work to be done.

Rear frame is chopped off and gone - excellent decision. So many dumb little brackets in that thing it would've taken way too long to clean it all up plus we would've had to french the frame for towers anyway - too much work.

I am extremely happy with how the tank fit. There are two sizes of the 32gal tank: one is a 26x18x18, and the one i bought is a 37x17x14. He got it set back as far as possible and it clears the upper link mount and heims on the 14bolt by almost 2" at full bump...so close!! Pic is not all the way at full bump. Tank will still come up an inch or so though.

Rear tube frame is all bent and getting welded in. This will all tie into the bucket/skid for the tank to fit into, and it will mesh into a rear bumper. Will use some T1 for a skid. Going to dimple die some plate to tie the two sticks of tube together for the frame...should look pretty nice.

Rear coilovers are going through the wheel wells and will get a crossbar brace to eachother which will later be tied into an internal cage.

Dustin is also going to build a custom filler neck that attaches to the stock fill location. Also, a removable "floor" over the tank, which will have a spot for my cooler to be locked down rather than yard-saled into my dash from going down a steep dropoff lol. And, room for a 12" sub and box. And some tools.

Lazy FOR SALE post:

QTY (4) 37x12.5R17 GOODYEAR MT/R, three years old, have three Discount/Americas Tire warranty certs as I used one for a friend for his bad spare.
Didn't rotate, front two are about 40-50% and have some cupping, other two have even tread and are about 50-60%. No plugs no patches no sidewall cuts. Actually liked these tires, they hook up great, sidewalls are strong unlike the 40's.

Mounted on steelie 17x9, 5x5.5 Ferd/CJ pattern, 2" backspace. Blows beads under 4psi, otherwise no issues whatsoever with the low backspacing.

$1000 firm, can palletize and ship if youd like - I ship freight all the time and would guess minimum $250 on a skid. Around $400-450 to go back east. So not really worth it. No Fastenal for me sorry.

Also have a fresh drilled and tapped reman FJ80 steering box (forward swing), never ran. Bought from rockauto, had a friend drill and tap at his machine shop. Ended up having to run another IFS box. In the end, I'm in it $575. First $500 takes it + shipping, that's what she said. OR let me know what you have to trade. I could use a set of HAM radio handhelds. Open to anything.

Or, I'm down to trade everything, worst I can say is no.

Monster dude, great work. Bring it out to CO when you're done. I'd like to take it for a spin :wink2:
