Drive belt ripped

The serpentine belt ripped on my V6 today. Fortunately it happened when I was driving into garage. Now I remember there were sights of wear like squealing...
I found the nice write up here http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-g...ging-serpentine-belts-v6-1gr-fe-4runners.html but my question is if there might have been another reason except the mileage which is 113k.
And what is the OEM number or replacements for the belt (90916-02571 ?) and tensioner pulley bearing (read that it has to be replaced too)?

Belt part # is 90916-02571. Not sure about the tensioner though. If I were you I'd shop online for the parts. Retail on the belt was $107.51 when I had the dealership do it.

Seriously? You got 113k on a 9 year old belt and you think it might have been something other than age?

I have this car for less then 3 years now and I've got no idea if the belt was ever changed..

Just get the kit from Gates and toss it on. I'm sure the old high milage belt is the reason it broke.

Make surenall your pulleys turn smoothly. Alternator, power steering, water pump...

Seen alot of destroyed belts bc of bad bearings

It was left-top idler pulley stuck. The bearing was totally devastated.
I replaced bearings in all pulleys though and put the Gates belt on. Seems to be working fine without noises.
The bearing replacements I used:
2x Idler no. 1: 6302-2RSC3 FAG and the sleeve (cut off flange).
1x Idler no. 2: 2x 6302d103-2RSV Neutral/NIS Rhino, no sleeve needed as it has ID=10mm.
Tensioner: 5203-2RS IJK, direct fit.
I reused all washers.

Just curious how long it took you to do all this? I'm looking at doing mine soon since i'm at 121k and get a slight squeal in the morning when it's cold. Need to know if I should plan on a whole day or just a half.

Actually it took me about 6 hours total. I was prepared mentally for half of that
Removing bearings, cleaning pulleys. The biggest problem I had with removing Idle no 1. bearing, it broke my vice. To press in new bearings I used the socket 30 that I bought specially in the night and that fits perfectly into the pulleys with the outer diameter.
