Drive plate fitting

Can somebody adsvise the correct way around for the drive plate on my yn130 89 4 runner. I replace the drive plate (old one cracked) and I am getting a clacking noise from that area. I fear I may have install plate around the wrong way. I have recently rebuilt the engine and transmission.

What do you mean by the drive plate? Are you talking about the fly wheel?

I mean drive plate as it has auto trans and torque converter bolts to drive plate and acts as flywheel.

I have managed to solve the problem. By taking a number of measurements I have determined the the plate needs to be dished away from the block to get the correct clearance for the torque converter
