I second DO NOT BUY FROM KTJO!!!!

I received the box open at one end and hardware, handle and rivnut kit missing.

KTJO REFUSES to send the missing parts asking me to file claim with USPS even though they are the ones that insured the package.

Not that I need it, but I'm curious if the supplied A-pillar trim and grab handle (provided one ever got it) would work with Jason's bracket...

Never got anything from the vendor mentioned. Mine is the OEM trim with Jason’s bracket!
 
I received a complete kit from afore mentioned vendor and had planned to use it with Jasons bracket and had the same question. I think it would but have not ordered the bracket yet so...

While it might be less desirable to have non-matching handles, apparently the FJ handle allows more room for the hand. I just ordered one of each. If the 4Runner handle is adequate I will use it. Otherwise I’ll use the FJ handle.

Sorry, I didn't mean you personally, just if anyone got that kit and tried to use it with Jason's bracket.

I did the mod as you described. It would be nice to see if the A-pillar trim in that other kit would work with Jason's bracket, but chances of getting just the trim are probably slim to none.

Ordered one yesterday
Can’t wait, easier for her to get in or I think it’ll be a good thing to extend my shoulder/arm out on longer drives

Been looking at all the online Toyota shops
Everywhere(including my local shop) plus shipping brings it close to $37handle plus the $1-2 for plugs
Not bad at all but anyone know of cheaper site?
Salvage yards are pretty far from me
