Driveshaft advice

Looking to replace the driveshaft on my 2010 4runner sr5 4wd and wondering if I should stick to OEM or if aftermarket is good enough? Right now cheapest I can find is a used OEM one on ebay for $162.

Any thoughts would be great!

Not sure about used...but OEM would be my pic....
An out of spec (balance, length) drive shaft can cause all sorts of issues (vibrations, binding etc) A person can go budget on things like light bars, and other non critical things, but a driveshaft is pretty dang critical.

That's a good price as long as the u joints, slip joint and yokes are in good shape. Clean and grease it before install.

Thanks guys! I am doing this to get rid of the clunk as they call it.

why don't you just remove it and clean it first and regrease the yolk.. could have been just dry grease.

I would replace the U-joints (with quality ones or OEM) fist while doing a good inspection. Then grease well. I don't see the point in replacing the whole driveshaft unless there is damage of some sort.

Just make sure part number is 37110-35A90, that’s the updated drive shaft and should theoretically get rid of your clunking issues

I have tried greasing all the zerks too long and it always comes back lol. Do you guys think going with used OEM is okay for driveshaft?

I don’t see why not as long as it’s in good shape but you do need to replace it with the updated part. I listed the part number in my post above.
