Im getting some new bulbs and I don't want to be burning them up during the day. Can someone give me a link for a DRL headlight mod for a 2002? Thanks

Pretty simple.
On the fender wall beside your stock battery location under the hood there is a small grey "heat sink" looking box. Simply unplug it and boom. No more drl

not for 01-02's. the DRL relay is under the dash above the right knee. black box with light blue,green label. disconnect the white connector and find the black wire with yellow stripe and either pull it out or cut it. which ever you do, put tape on the end(s) and done. if you want to read about it, here it is:

I did it this way on my 2002 after new bulbs. Cut the black and yellow and your good to go.

Oh so it's more complicated on the later years? Good to know. My opinion is void then in this circumstance

Thanks guts wish I had done it when I had my hid headlights but both ballast went out and I have had nothing but problems with my offroad hid ballast so im just going back to some good vision x halogen bulbs

We'll once your drls are disabled it's ok to get hides again. Headlights will only come on when you turn them on. No low voltage idiot lights
