DRL Issue?

I'm driving a 2014 SR5 with less than 2000 miles on it.

Past two mornings I've noticed that my daytime running light don't come on when I start it up. But by the time I get to work ~25 minutes later the DRLs are on.

Do I chalk it up to the cold temps and just watch it?

Do I take it back to the dealer?
It will work fine when I get there because it is more than 25 minutes away. I really don't want the hassle of leaving it over night.

Do I trust them to do anything or are they just going to wiggle wires and shrug?

Have any of you experienced something similar?

The DRL's don't come on when you start the truck. It will turn on once your parking break is released. Try this first to see what happens.

I just went out (in the cold) and checked. Took off the parking break and they work!

lol we don't use parking brakes up here during the winter. they tend to freeze in place if they are engaged

Enjoy it while you can, I hear Toyota will be removing the parking brake for the 6th Gens as a cost savings measure.
