Drove the 4-Runner in the snow for the first time tonight....

Love it! I always loved how my Audi A4 drove in the snow, but the 4-Runner offers even more! Even with the Dunlop tires that everyone seems to complain about, I had really good traction. Stabillity, balance, cornering, all were really good. I managed to get the traction control system beeping at me a few times, I guess it didn't like the 4-wheel drifts I was doing. (need a way to disable that beeper!)

Anyways, just wanted to give a shout out, 4-Runner is a great vehicle in the snow!

I can only imagine what a set of even beefier tires can do....

Enjoy. Seems like people recommend the Revos for snow tires as well. Mine has worked well, but it has never seen snow.

Also lock the center diff if you want to be dangerous and drfit a bit It will turn off the VSC.

Sweet! I had forgot that since reading the manual when I first got the 4-Runner. I'll have to try it next time.

How deep was the snow?

Probably only about 4", but it was enough to get an idea of how it handled.
