If anyone wants, i would be glad to provide you with the mounting hole pattern, or whatever other info is helpful. I cut up the OEM power steering bracket and welded a new base onto it and bolted this up to the aluminum battery tray. Ill take some closer pics tomorrow for anyone interested.

Depending on how many people are interested, I could be convinced to make a few more of these trays and power steering brackets....

Could you provide me with the mounting hole pattern? I might mock up my own tray soon as well.

I just confirmed with BUD that this Yellow Top will work with the tray he made. Should be anytime now that they are available but still not sure what they will cost.
 
It's been well over a month since Bud said he'd have the battery trays ready for sale "in a couple of weeks". Has anyone been able to get a realistic timeline out of him?

He mentioned that he's done 2 already and will have them up on the webpage "at the end of next week". I tried to put in an order with him while I had him on the phone but he wouldn't let me...which is a little less than promising, but who knows, maybe we'll be surprised.
 
Not to steal Bud Rosenberger's new battery tray thunder (I have a set of his fabulous skid plates) but I went the easiest (and likely most expensive) way for stuffing an auxiliary battery in my 4Runner.

I emailed Derek Bester at ABR-Sidewinder in Gumdale, Queensland, Australia about his battery tray and dual battery kit for the Aussie Prado LC150. Derek confirmed that everything is a direct fit in our 5th Gen 4Runners.

Prado LC150 2010

My entire order from ABR-Sidewinder consisted of the battery tray, DBi-140R battery isolator kit, battery cable set and battery monitor with battery linking switch. All-in price, including shipping to Canada was $625 AUD.

Installation is very straightforward and here's what it looks like:
