Due in Port Feb.3rd! 2-3 more weeks...

Okay, I'm getting fairly anxious now. I'm told my t4r arrives in port Feb 3 and that it'll be 2-3 more weeks to the Cincinnati area. "Ordered" it December 26th and was quoted 6-8 weeks.

The waiting is the worst. I ordered mine jan 3 . Dealer said 12 weeks. I live in CA not far from the port I thought maybe it would cut some time off.
What color and options did you get?

I have 3 to 4 weeks left for mine to get delivered to Okinawa. I bought mine sight unseen in November in Washington then had it shipping to Long Beach, CA. Then put on a ship back to Nagoya, Japan which was due in port on the 27th. Now the dealer has to convert it to Japanese spec and testing etc. Then change out the USA Navi for a Japanese one. Once that's all done it's put on another ship down to Okinawa. I started this trying to buy a 4Runner on October so it's been a very long 3 to 4 months. So cannot wait to see my truck.

I wonder why the shortage hit us on the head by surprise?! When I bought mine in Thanksgiving weekend 2011, they had plenty on the lot and a few that were ready for customization. I guess the interest in the product(demand) has outgrown supply(in the USA).

I have a VIN #. My truck is enroute from port and is to arrive between the 17 and 22nd. It's already felt like an eternity, 1 to 1.5 more weeks!!!

I was told a lot of it has to do to full recovery of the factories in Japan. They are slowing being able to get back to the demand.

My LE arrived at the dealer on February 20th. For those of you playing at home, it took 9 weeks to the day from when it was "ordered". The real bummer is I'm so busy with work I can't get to the dealer until Friday.
