Duel gas tanks, a doable idea?

Hey there guys, I know I might be getting annoying with all my what if situations, but I'm a dreamer when it comes to cars, I love doing mods and making things my own. So something popped into my head the other night and I've been chewing on the idea, but what if I was able to put a second gas tank into the runner? What would you have to do and how could one go about doing this? It would be a completely aux tank and I would want to hook it up just like the old ford trucks had. Having a switch and TLI, just a thought as I've said but might be very helpful. Any suggestions or info would be nice.

look into the f150(or f250) tank. the rear tank out of a f150/250 from the mid-late 80 into the early 90s will fit between the frame rails in the rear of our runners, but you have to remove your spare tire and anything else back there.... its doable, i have wanted to do this, just not needed too yet.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking because I'm going to have my tire on a swing out bumper. I like to plan ahead and I've been toying around with the idea.
