Dumb buying question.....

I'm gonna be buying some OME891's off another member and just wanna make sure it's just spring only. Nothing else right? Not like the fronts. Is it gonna be okay to have such a rake on the truck until I can get the front done? The back is sagging so bad with all my work stuff I need to do something and I have lightly used 99s already.

Thanks as always!

891's

In the rear our 4runners use a separate coil and shock to control the suspension. I know my 890's gave me about 3 inches over some very badly sagged 1997 coils, and didn't absolutely "need" new shocks, but I could see that under off road conditions I would be over extending the shocks. I didn't change control arms, trackbar or sway bar initially, as I didn't deem them necessary.

Depending on what shocks you have back there now, you might find that the springs can overwork the shocks, as you know they are much stiffer than stock and the shocks will be working extra hard to control rebound.

I ran around for a short time on stock shocks, endlinks, control arms and 890 coils. The upgrade to longer shocks and longer endlinks was a welcome one.
