Dunlops are very prone to Hydroplaning!!!!

Get Revos !!! They are great at any condition.

That's all I needed to hear! Now I'll just wait about 3 more months for my Dunlops to finish wearing out.

Last winter, I had owned my new 4runner for about a week when there was a nasty blizzard. The Dunlops were absolutely terrible. I had to drive about half the speed of the other traffic. If I attempted to go faster, the vehicle became extremely hard to control and I had a couple of very close calls with the curb. I think I wore out the traction control alarm that day.

Surprisingly, the Dunlops turned out to be pretty good on packed snow and ice, so I was able to make it through the winter but I was never confident in the 4runner's capabilities when the road conditions were less than optimal.

I recently bought the Revos and even though it's now summer, the 4runner simply handles a lot better. With the Dunlops, it felt like the truck wandered, requiring constant steering corrections. Now, the vehicle tracks much better. I get a feeling that this next winter, the 4runner will be much more capable.

As a last note, a lot of people mention that the Revos are a bit noisier, but I didn't notice any difference. If there is a difference, it's certainly not very noticeable.

I thought the 4-Runner tracked awful sometimes and suspected it was the Dunlops as well. Can't wait to install some Revos this fall!

IMHO, you can't go wrong with the REVO's. I have a set I put on during the last to winters, and love them. I did note that they were a little fussy about tire pressure. I run the OEM Bridgstone HT's at 37, but the REVO's work best at 35.
