Duratrac 285/70/17 best deal?

Ok, so I've looked online for a good deal on these 285/70/17 duratrac tires. Looks like $260-280 is the going price. So, can I tell you that I might be able to get them for 210 each? Can you find a better deal than that?

OK, so it was better than I though. Ended up getting them for $170 EACH!!!!

So here's what happened. Went online to looks at prices.... looking like $260-280 each everywhere I looked. I went browsing all over, and last one I ended up on was DISCOUNT TIRE.

So there on discount tire, there's a little link next to the price that says "found it lower?"

So anyways, price there is $276 each, I decided to click the link, and fill in the form that I found the tire for $210... just for the shits and giggles of it.

Sure enough, less than 30 minutes later, someone from Discount Tire calls me wanting to know when I wanted to come it and get those tires! Price adjusted to $210 each!

Just wait, it gets even better. So now, I know there is a BLACK FRIDAY DEAL going until the 28th. If you use their credit card (which I already had from my last purchase), you get FREE INTEREST for 9 months, a credit card mailed to you for $100, and another from goodyear for $60!!!!

So, let's do the math....

$210 each = $840
$840 - $160 in rebates = $680
$680 / 4 = $170 EACH!!!!!


So there you have it.... No better deal out there.

Now the question is, will anyone be able to get this deal? or is it just because the guy who price matched my $210 didn't check.....

Hmmmm, exactly what I paid for my Coopers on they're ebay site a month ago. They had a $100 coupon at the time of order, so it was $680 w free shipping, but here is a similar link. If your shopping, keep an eye on ebay and they might run that coupon again. I never saw a good price on the Duratracs though. Also, I called the local shop here and they told me I get a price break on mounting and balancing with my ebay receipt. I had no idea they offered that when I bought them.

Thanks. I couldn't really believe it, that's why I decided to ask around if anyone has seen pricing at around 210. When he called, I couldn't believe that he adjusted the price that fast and locked it in.. All I had to do was show up and have them installed.

When I got there, my paperwork was ready for me, tires ready to be mounted, and a stall waiting just for me. Less than 40 minutes later I was driving away with my nittos in the back...

Just stuck them on here and craigslist, let's see how fast they sell.

I did the same for a set of 4 x 275/55 R20 BFG A/T KO2. 4 Wheel Parts have them for $211.99 and discount tire beat them for $199.50 a tire. That's with Discount Tire's Black Friday $75 rebate. Wish I had a Discount Tire card which would have taken an additional $60 off.

I'm also hoping take advantage of BFG's $70 Master Card Reward Card for purchasing 4 new tires.
