just be mindful of the usb 2 version of a cable when trying to connect to a usb 3 port.
here is a pic of the difference ports 2 vs 3.
I know my daughters new galaxy S5 has the new usb 3 micro b connector. the big connector mirrors the old usb micro and that's how you would connect it to a legacy port, but you lose the charging ability since the new usb 3 connector has 2 connectors, big one is data, the small one is power if I remember correctly.
Thanks! This one seems to the only option with the discount.
Newegg.com - NETGEAR R6250 Wireless AC1600 Dual Band Gigabit Router IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n
Looks reasonable.
While I was browsing though, I saw this
NETGEAR Centria WNDR4720-100NAS All-in-One Back-up, Media Server, N900 Dual Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router; 2TB Version (WNDR4720) - Newegg.com
Built in 2GB hard drive and 2x 3.0 USB ports. That might be the one.
just to let you know that 4720 came out in late 2012.
I don't see any issues, just letting you know this came out in a few years ago.
some people have issues with older tech.
