e7005 radio question

high guys, im new to 4runners and to the forum. I just picked up a 2005 limited with e7005 jbl navigation radio. my question is this sound system the jbl sound system? the reason I ask is because on other 4runners I see that on the speaker grills it shows a jbl label and mine does not.
also does my system have the jbl amplifier? it does have a speaker in the r/r of the trunk area. im unsure if this system is designated as the "jbl system" when looking into aftermarket audio options such as an ipod adapter or bluetooth and adapter harnesses.

Pretty sure you do. The E7005 is only powered by a JBL amp. Even if you don't have the "JBL tags" on the speaker grille, it's very difficult to wire them to an aftermarket amp. I remember reading that somewhere which is why many (when installing an OEM NAV to a non-NAV 4Runner) recommended getting a JBL amp.

Only way to find out 100%, rip out the passenger rear plastic interior and see if it's there.

thank you for the reply. the reason I ask is because I am thinking of installing a bluetooth module/interface and most of the companies that offer them ask if it has the jbl sound system because of the wire harness differences.
also, another question, if I had the oem cd changer where would it be located?

Can't be sure on this, but I thought the E7005 (like the E7009) had an inbuilt 3 CD changer (?).

Anyway, can't answer your question on the CD Changer location. I would think in the cargo area in back.
