Eager to buy a car, thinking of car financing.

Most will agree that cash is king. Most will also admit however that they don't have the means to do this. This leaves one option, a car loan. I know there are a number of different options and ways to approach financing my dream car. I am looking for what is best car loan for me. Actually 5 months from now, I can buy my dream car without the help of car finance. I am just really excited and obviously can't wait.

If it's five months, just wait. You'll save money and not have to worry about the hassle of all the paperwork.

How much can you finance at?

My car loan is at 4.2% and a I don't think it is much of a big deal to have it financed.

My loan is though Navy Federal Credit Union though.

A co-worker of mine has terrible credit and he could only finance a $5,000 Ford Explorer @ 20% interest from Carmax. :redbrick:

Buying things with cash does absolutely nothing for your credit rating. I've financed quite a most of my cars, even though I plan to pay it off immediately. That way, you get credit for being "financially responsible."
In the case of our T4R, it is a Certified Pre-Owned so it was only 2.9% anyway. We put a nice downpayment down to ensure a very low monthly payment and send double payments every month. This way (knock wood) if anything were to happen to either of us or our jobs we're not up a creek without a paddle
