Ear clamp size for tie rod / steering rack boot? 1999 4runner

I bought tie rods and new boots, for doing my inner and outer TRs tomorrow, but I don't like the boot clamps that came with the replacements. I want to run out and find new ear clamps tomorrow morning - does anyone know the right size? The 4runner isn't here currently for me to measure. I don't want to use zipties, plus I already have an ear clamp tool.

Well, it ended up being about 2-5/8" diameter, but after trying 4 auto parts stores, Lowes, and Fastenal's local store, I struck out finding any ear clamps

One problem with using ear clamps for that type of application is if you wanted to remove the clamp/boot for any reason there's a good chance you'll wreck the boot.

Plus zip ties or gear clamps work well for that. They're not going anywhere.
