i wouldnt be surprised if they were defect products from total chaos or allpro or who ever. we established the same thing for the ebay uniballs

99% positive although I wouldn't say defective. Just easier to off load them in bulk than to strip them down and powder coat them again.

So what have we established? That they're blemish UCAs and come "empty" and the eBay seller adds bushings, sleeves, uniballs, zerks and hardware? That makes perfect sense...

You know, that's another thing to note. While the UCAs have to be assembled, the rear arms did not. Bushings, sleeves, and zerks were already in/attached when I opened the box. The only thing that wasn't put together was the panhard bar, and I'm assuming that was to get it to fit in the box they used. Assuming there's some grease in them, but I'll give everything a pump or two once it's installed.

Installed Friday night, buttoned it up Saturday morning. I didn't really take measurements but I think the pictures show the big differences. My only issues were that I busted a zerk fitting on one lower arm and I had to force one of the upper arms into place. It wasn't an issue with the sleeve so much as it was that I didn't have things lined up right on the arm.
Couple things to note. I used the bolts and the original arms to line up the new arms to stock length. I forgot to tighten things down before I installed and had to drop the lateral bar to lock the nuts so make sure everything is tight before you install.
The brake line bracket bolts come out, but the nuts are welded to the stock arms, so you need to have a replacement bolt/nut combo or nut to match the stock bolt.
All bushings had grease in them evidenced by the grease I pumped in and got legit grease coming out. Looks like mobil 1 grease loaded in the bushings based on what came out.
1 zerk broke when I pulled my grease gun out, that sucked and I'll have to replace it eventually.
Otherwise it was a standard install and everything set up correctly and without issue.

I'd have to pull one off, but I don't remember any play in the sleeves when I was lining them up next to each other.

Not going to be shiny too much longer, I'm gearing up to go hiking and with the amount of rain we got last night the fire road on the way to the trailhead is going to be a muddy mess. Going to try to find a hill or too and check the flex out while I'm at it.

Did you have to drop the gas tank to get to that one bolt that is right above it?

nope, actually wasn't that bad to get to.
What this gentleman said.
Everything *looks* up to par aside from the spherical rod-ends. Who knows if replacements would be easily sourced.
