Ebay Trail Premium- is this a good deal?

I've seen running boards like that on a Trail I looked at before I purchased mine. The previous owner was elderly and the lowered running boards made it easier for ingress/ exit, or so the dealer told me. They were also a smoker which was something the dealer neglected to tell me over the phone before I drove an hour to go see it. Dealerships....

Anyways, not sure how those running boards go along with the blacked out 20" rims.

Agree with all that's been said earlier, plus I'll add that if you're getting a loan, usually the rate is lower on new than on used (75 to 100 basis points at my credit union, for example). So that may negate some of the already limited savings buying used 2014 vs. new.

I think you could easily get within $5k of that used one with a brand new one, you get a tax break on a trade in or a "courtesy trade" that will make up part of that gap, 2 years free service, some insurance companies give "new car discounts" that could save you a little (my brand new Trail is costing me less than my '05 Tacoma) and of course, you have piece of mind that someone hasn't screwed something up, which to some people, is priceless.

I just searched craigslist and auto trader. Cant find it on either one. I would proceed with extreme caution.

Been browsing the site for awhile, love all the build threads on here.

Purpose of my post is I got a second chance offer on a 4 runner on Ebay I was bidding on that didn't meet reserve.

2014 Trail Premium - Dark Grey -11k miles - aftermarket wheels i'm not excited about but the rest looks good.

Price 32,500.

So hard to find these.. Let me know what you all think if this is a deal or not.

I feel your pain OP. It was extremely hard for me to find an TP here in the Southeast. When I did find one, no one wanted to really deal.
I had to get my dealer to bring one in from 300 miles away.

Sorry for the late reply. Looking at the listing it's a little sketchy. I could go either way about it. If you want it, have it inspected. See if they have the original wheels and tires and you might be able to get the price down a bit more considering the situation. Weird situation for sure. Proceed with caution.
