Ebay Tundra strut and coils complete will these work?

Toyota Tundra Front Complete Struts Coil Springs W Mounts Pair 00 06 | eBay

Just came across these on ebay and im looking for a budget friendly way of lifting my runner around 2". I would be going with these up front and OME coils in back. Anyone know if these would give our 3rd Gens any lift up front? Thanks

Yes they'll give you some lift. But it won't be the same as going Tundra TRD's.

Any guess at how much lift I'd get from these? I have a '97 limited. I'm looking to get some 285/75/16's.

My guess is just under 2", but that's completely unscientific.

Struts are made by Unity Automotive in Delray Beach, FL.

There is also a Tundra quickstrut (complete assy) made by FCS Automotive being sold on Amazon cheap. I couldn't find any bad reviews on Amazon for other models nor anything bad elsewhere.

Don't buy those. You might get 1" but for the price you can get a lot better. Only get the TRD coils for the Tundra as the others are not going to lift you at all and will be pointless. If you're going cheap then I suggest either a spacer for the time being (not the best, but will work) or 5100's with them set for 3" using your stock coils. That way you can upgrade to Eibach's from Toytec eventually for a proper 3" lift.

You still need to disassemble any complete Tundra coilover and swap the upper mounts for 4Runner ones.

Thanks for all the help looks like these are not the way to go. I might try the Rough Country $250 lift or piece something together. I have a $1000 to burn on the Runner and trying to stretch that into a lift and Tires.

I might go with the new Treadwright Bead to Bead Warden 285's about $620 Shipped for 4 of them.
