Very cool thanks! I am frustrated by the way it looks and the screen is glared because the sun hits it as it sticks out. I will probably have the shop do it because it pisses me off they didn't do it in the first place... I was in a wreck yesterday and the audio shop is right next door to the autobody shop I use so it should work out well. Thanks again!

Also, is there a way to remove the unit without tearing the entire dash apart?

Nope, you have to take apart the console because the piece that surrounds the stereo and climate control system extends all the way down. It sucks that it doesn't come apart easier, but after you do it a few times it's a piece of cake.
