When does the group buy end? Didn't see a date on OP. I really want this, but I had to pay Uncle Sam this year.
Did you coat the 4 edges? Or only the front? What length did you order?

I think the side edges need it more than the front does. If you want to guestimate, about 16-18' should be just enough for front and 2 sides.
However, if you have Amazon Prime it's a better deal at: 10' - $10.00 or 25' - $15.99. If you buy 20' it's $22.99.

I've only got the front and crossbar edges done. You can put it on the side edges (which I may do in the near future), but I would only put it up to the crossbar mounting sections. That way you can always have the crossbars sit flush with the side rails. I only have the crossbar edges coated up to where it meets the side rail. If that makes any sense. With as cheap as this stuff is, I would just get 40'. You should be good to do as much or little as you want.
hi guys, i see a lot of you converting to using black oxide stainless steel hardware. black oxide is basically black rust...so it will rust. better would be to use black anodized or nickel plated hardware (if available)...or just spray paint the stainless hardware that came with the rack.

RIGHT!? I'm in batch 5 but I don't think mine has been shipped yet, or at least cleared customs.. crossing my fingers and toes mine has the new tie down points and everything, that would be so much better. If not I may offload mine on local classifieds and re-order in the GB
