Ed Morse Delray Toyota - Stay Away!

I would like to hear more details since I plan on purchasing a 4 runner in the near future. I gather you are saying they damaged your vehicle but you are not complaining about the price you paid.

Contact Toyota Motor Sales in Torrence. The dealer must close out any complaints to Toyotas satisfaction, not theirs. Keep whining, the dealer must satisfy any complaints one way or the other. Also try Southeast Toyota (distributor) 954 429-2000. Dealers can not have any "open" complaints from Toyota. I have other info. if you need. pm me

I purchased my 04 Sport at Ed Morse DelRay and i had a great experience. The sales person, and mangers were very courteous to everything i asked.

This dealership is like an hour from my house, but i refuse to deal with miami car dealers. It was definitely worth the trip. The first place i went in miami (that made me refuse to buy a car in miami)although giving a pretty good price, offered me 1/4 of the kbb trade in value of my old car. I was literally nose to knows arguing with the sales manager (a very rude man named shah) when my girlfriend (very intelligently) pulled me out of the dealership. Kendall TOyota is the WORST.

I do beleive they give a great price (which any dealer in south florida will match if given the opportunity) but for people with no desire to have a negative shark tank experience of car buying should stay away.

I don't understand why it is "uncool" to post my negative opinion about a dealership. The vehicle was less than a week old and was in the service dept for a vibration problem. When re-balancing the wheels, they put a deep gash in one of the wheels. When I brought it to the attention of the service manager, he said his technician noticed the gash before removing the wheel and told me that they will not assume responsibility for the damage. If I were that technician, I would have called the customer over to point out the damaged wheel before even starting the service. The vehicle was less than a week old and I put a deep gash in the wheel right by the lugnut in that short time? I don't think so. The situation was ugly and that was not the way to treat a customer.

Again, my experience and opinion.

"If I were that technician, I would have called the customer over to point out the damaged wheel before even starting the service."

I would file a complaint to Toyota for this reason.

Anyone going to the dealership for SERVICE is advised to be careful.

I bought my 06 4Runner here and had a great experience. Can't say anything bad about them at all. I got my Tacoma at Al Hendrickson in Margate a few years prior and will never go back there. But I have always had a good experience with Ed Morse. Sorry to hear about the damage to your truck though...
