Edelbrock shocks on closeout...

i did :bravo: you will be getting them before me though  its going ground to hawaii. just trying to decide on what springs i want to use i got a bunch of goodies on the way

I'll get mine sooner, not sure when I'll get them installed though. Waiting on other parts, going to have a big install day and do it all at once. I can only work on my 4runner on the weekends, so it makes it difficult to find time. Either way, very excited about these, really hope they work out.

Like I said if they don't work out for me well I'm only out 200. And will be a good reason to go coilovers lol

I have a real large install day coming also I'm excited

Got my shipping info this evening. You guys received anything yet? Looking forward to trying these out.

Mine should be here on Thursday. Now I just need to find out how to get another 1/2" in the rear. Either I can run the OEM rear trim spacer or maybe find some FJ springs?

Either should work. Let us know your thoughts on them once you get them put on.

I called edelbrock to check the status of my order and it seems that they ran out when I ordered but they are looking into it, if they don't have any left they will issue me a refund. Shame but they were very nice.

Hey Skyline,

Give this part# a shot. It is listed for the 05-09 Tacoma 4wd and has a different part#. Bilstein specs the same part # for 4runner, FJ, and Tacoma. I dont think there is any difference, but Edelbrock specs a different part# 3112 FJ and 3115 for 05-09 Tacoma 4WD

Edelbrock VS-3 Shock for 2005-09 Toyota Tacoma 4WD and PreRunner (optional lift height 1-1/2") (Front)

well good news, I received a call from edelbrock, they are making my order so they should be done in a few days. Their customer service has been great. Can't wait to exercise this set on the track, so far I've only done the OEM setup and bilsteins both non TRD and TRD.

I've got a set of fj springs sitting around

Hmmmm.... Want to part with the rears? Might be better that you just install them along with the shocks. Might as well if you have them.

well now the problem is that the ome front springs and the toytec rear springs are going to cost me over $400+ with shipping out here their claiming it cost 100 bucks for shipping out here /endrant

It could just be me but those rear shocks look funny. Can you take a pick of there mounting points? Or maybe edelbrocks instructions.

I thought as much, I was hoping the pic on edelbrocks page was a generic one.:smashputer: So would you run a adapter or send them back?
