Eibach needs a stock TRD PRO in SoCal

I've got a set of the Eibach's on backorder, and can definitely notice the slight clunk when it's cold out at low speeds. Mainly just backing out of the driveway/garage.

Anyone know if this is any sort of an issue beyond 'the small clunk annoys me'? Like... what is the clunk?

I had the TSB work finished yesterday and can confirm that the new parts have a different spring and perch design vs the 19-20. It has an open end spring design vs the flat. Once I clean off the car from this Northeast Blizzard I can take some photos haha.

what we need is the part numbers for both the spring and damper assembly. If they are in fact Tacoma assemblies, we need to test drive / test heights our tacoma springs on the 4R.

Just trying to confirm. But you are looking for a local a trd pro that has had tsb work done? I have a 2020 and Im taking it in...

Quoting myself, since now that I've read this thread and the TSB it's making me nuts... also a nice new set of Foxs up front is pretty hard to pass up...

what we need is the part numbers for both the spring and damper assembly. If they are in fact Tacoma assemblies, we need to test drive / test heights our tacoma springs on the 4R.

Hey Mark, I took a look the other day and didn’t see any numbers stamped on the springs or shock individually, but I did see a part number stamped on the lower spring perch. The part number matches that found in the tsb. Here are photos of the dealer repair order and the part number found on the front driver side assembly. Please let me know if there are any other places I should look to find a part number.

I'm in the same situation. If it's just a clunk and nothing harmful, I'll probably go ahead and install springs.

In the case I get the TSB work completed, would I be able to swap out the springs for ones that will fit the new shocks? I ordered directly from Eibach.

Now that we've had some chunky ice and snow on the ground, the sound is making me a bit nuts.

Thinking the best approach is to kill off my backordered set and go in and get the TSB work done and review my options once Eibach has reviewed theirs.

Good News! We are discussing special pricing for those who are currently using our springs and receive the TSB!

At a minimum, you'll need to provide proof of purchase and your service records with matching customer information.

More details once we get everything finalized for production.

Unfortunately, this part number does NOT match the 2020 Tacoma which is PTR61-35201. That doesn't mean the dimensions aren't the same, but without any part numbers on the springs themselves it requires having something in hand to measure.

I gotta believe the Venn diagram of SoCal locals and Customers with installed TSB parts doesn't have much overlap, given the conditions required conditions to recreate the issue...
