really interested in this kit, however id like to keep some of the rake from stock. Would it be advisable to add 0.5" rear spacers with this kit to get the most height from the lift as well as keeping some rake?

You can use spacers but measure if you have the 4runner lean. Most not all are off. My 19 had 1/2" and my 20 is 3/4" lower on driver's side. Eibach is soon(hopefully) to release a rear adjustable spring so no matter what lean or if your gonna tow for a day you can level it right where you want to

Any rubbing? I’m looking to do pretty much the same with the lift and spacers. I have the same wheel/tire combo.

No rubbing at all! actually think I can fit 275’s on it now with out a problem.

Finally got the wheels/tire mounted over the weekend.



First time seeing it got me as excited as when I laid eyes on the T4R back in 2015.



Lift: Eibach Pro-Truck Lift

Wheels: SCS Ray10 Bronze 17X8.5

Tires: General Grabber AT/X 275/70/17



Noticed there is rubbing at full lock on the front mudflaps - will take a heat gun to it or remove altogether.

Do you have any pictures from the front and back to see how the stance of those wheels will look like, planning on ordering those wheels and risk to see if 285/70/17 tires will fit without heavy modification and this suspension lift kit. Thanks. Awesome 4Runner!

Front will raise ~1.8". 600lb spring. release is TDB and he won't answer that at the moment.

I prefer springs over spacers and the Eibach spring is a perfect 1" increase solution for not that much more than spacers.

Spacers will work also. Just my 02 cents. On my 19 I put the eibach rears in before the fronts. Yes it looked stupid with the rear being way high but what I noticed immediately how they helped road manners, lean around corners etc. truck felt planted.
Eibach is also releasing (no one knows when) rear adjustable springs. My pro and 3/4" drivers side lean so these will level the rear from right to left. also if you plan on towing for a day just crank up the springs and good to go
