Eibach Pro-truck lift

Thank you, I appreciate the pics, they both look good. I’m afraid I’d end up in the same boat as you however. The 285’s coupled with the wheels I’m preparing myself for a bmc. Swore I’d keep it simple this time around, no such luck.

285s, Toyos weigh 7lb more than stock dunlaps/ FN rims made it with minimal rub that can fix with a heat gun.
Still waiting on replacement rears to get some rake back

Hey ForRun, you've been a help on both 4R forums, thanks! What are you replacing the rears with if you don't me asking? I had the same concern with this kit as well, would have liked to keep a little rake but it fit my needs/budget the best.

Eibach has fully adjustable rears that will allow to dial in the 4runner lean, set your own height and for me the couple times a year I tow up north, should be able to not be nose high the whole trip

Aw hell with it, go big or go home right? 285's it is...

Don't settle, you will regret it. I really like my 285's, it does look better, and most importantly, i gained 14mm additional ground clearance, that's yuuuuge. Though I am thinking about a regear later on.

I got the BMC done before I even got the 285's installed. My wheels are similar to yours.

You're exactly right and I would have, been down this road before. Tires ordered this am 285/70/17. Kit is due to arrive Monday so hopefully will have everything together in the next week or two.

Hi everyone. New here. Finally decided to join after putting it off for so long and lurking around this site for a while. We got our 2015 SR5 Magnetic Grey back in September 2019. It was pretty much stock aside from already having leather seats, heated seats, and stock size Discoverer ATP tires. So far I've done Ultra HID 6500 low beams, interior LED lights, K&N reusable cabin filter, window tint, Canvasback cargo liner in black plaid, and probably a couple more things I'm forgetting. I'll try to think if I've done other things and add it to my signature a little later. This is my first post and I figured what better way than on this Eibach thread, since I just bought this stage 1 kit on a 4th of July sale through Neo-Garage. I know it'll take a long time to get it with everything going on right now, but thats fine with me. I'm not rushed to get it. Just curious if anyone has any experience (hopefully positive) with them?

Wondering if I can get some input from people with experience with this lift. Recently had 5100’s installed in the front on my 2020. Was just wanting to go mild and not mess with the rear or springs, UCA’s for now. The shop installed then at the top notch setting, so approx. 2.5” lift. I am now pretty significantly nose high. They have agreed to change them out to the 1.75” setting for a more leveled look that I was going for. I don’t mind how it’s riding at the top setting and honestly feel, other than being nose high the ride is good and close to stock.

I was looking for an alternative to possibly just add 1-2” in the rear to level it out and keep it at 2.5”ish in the front. That’s when I came across the Eibach lift kit and this thread. If I were to start from scratch, think I’d just go with this kit. However, wondering about doing a mix-and-match with the front Bilstein 5100 at this point. I could either go with 5100’s in the rear and the Eibach spring’s or just do the Eibach shock and spacer, combined with the 5100 in front. Would this throw the ride off or cause any other issues? Think it would be level enough, as most people get 2.75” out of this kit in the front and 1” in the rear and report is as being level. Any significant advantages to just starting over with the total eibach kit? Really would like to stay away from UCA’s at this point, as the truck has <2k miles and I just really didn’t want replace more than necessary at this point. Like I said the Bilstein 5100 at the top setting feels fine at this point, tracks straight and steering is good on and off highway.

Other, maybe unrelated point, but if I were to just throw on the rear springs and shocks and not touch the front, would I need another alignment?

You can just get eibach springs and keep rear shocks. You may need a spacer to be rid of the lean or eibach has rear adjustable springs to set it wherever needed

Ebach springs with stock shocks? Was thinking I’d have to buy some 5100’s or eibach shocks for the added height of the springs in the rear. I have 5100’s only in the front ATM.

I mis read, thought u had 5100 all around. Stock shocks are junk. If you want to go cheap go cornfed. lots of people love them

I did all four 5100's last week (front's at zero) with Eibach 1" rear springs and Toytec/Eibach 1.6" front springs. It gave me a much better ride, zero tire rub now, plus it kept a little rake. I tow frequently and didn't want the nose-high ride. You can mix and match with no issues.

Standard and TRD PRO UPDATE:
Front springs are wound and now in grinding! Rear springs are a step ahead in shot peen, so provided they pass all three load / length tests throughout their manufacturing processes, these will be complete in about two weeks. I have personally reviewed the priority list and see all 4Runner products are at the top.

Quickly scanning through this thread, it looks like everyone is getting a true 2.75” in the front? Most people running aftermarket UCA’s?

These will replace the fox front springs for the Pro?

That is correct. You'll have 1.6" lift in the front and 1.0" lift in the rear. The springs are coated RED to match your originals.

Do you know if the front springs will be sold separately? I'd like to pair them with a larger lift option in the rear. Thanks.

Mark the big question maybe you will be able to answer if you are testing these on a Pro now are you going to be able to clear 285’s? What’s the latest update. Thanks.

Every 285 is different, every 4runner is a bit different. I doubt eibach will guarantee all 285s will fit. 90% of people will have to trim bumper/liners and/or remove from flaps to fit 285s. If you don't want any modifications stick with 265s.

That being said, I have 285/70 at3w on trd wheels with stock fox shock and I had to push liner forward and remove front mud flaps or they rubbed at full lock.

YUP! Part number E30-82-071-03-20 is the pair of fronts only.

We have only confirmed fitment on factory wheel tire combination. Because of the thousands of wheel/tire combinations we generally are not able to confirm what exactly will fit. That being said, the chassis are all the same, thus, you could go hunt down the 285 on 2.5" lift thread and go from there.
