Eibach Pro-truck lift

Forgot to mention mine didn’t come with the adjustable wrench so I called up Eibach and they shipped me one for free.

The Eibach kit will be my next upgrade once it ships. My Predator package came with the TRD Pro wheels and some meaty Ridge Grapplers in 265/70/17, and I'd like to keep the factory rubber for a while to save some money. Leaning toward the 1.6" on factory springs up front and the 1" Eibach shock/spring to give a little level and lift, and can throw a rear block and Eibach spring up front later when it's time to upgrade the tires. Would throwing on spacers at time of install help fill the gap with the factory tires for a while? Make up for size with stance? Or am I just going to buy new tires sooner than I need to..

Has anyone changed the stiffness setting without removing the strut from the car?
I've had stage 1 kit (lowest setting) for a while but added hidden winch mount and warn winch which gave a little sag. I'm thinking of going for the 2nd setting but
I'm worried if I removed the whole thing, I might need another alignment?
Can changing the setting be done with just using spring compressors while the strut still on the car?

I did the Eibach kit the factory springs on the 2.5" perch. I have the factory ORP wheels with factory Dunlops and it looks surprisingly good.

So any word on the 2.75” lift springs and 5100 combo? Currently have both unopened. How do the adjustments compare between the two? As in perch adjustment rates. Have an sso front bumper and prinsu full rack.

Just ordered the Eibach pro truck kit.

Anyone know what Airlift size works with the rear springs?

I don't have a definitive, I've-already-tried-it, answer for you, but here's what I've learned.

Some recommendations and thoughts are below, but ultimately, I think the best thing to do is get your kit installed, let it bake for a month or so, take some measurements (check the build-a-kit wizard I reference below) and call Airlift and ask what's best.

That said...

The stock rear suspension takes Airlift 1000 Part # 60804 (bags with dimensions of Ø4.90" x 8"). The Eibach Pro Truck yields 1" of additional lift (according to their web site). So you'd want an Airlift kit with 1" longer bags (with the same diameter). That'd be kit # 60920. This is the logic I used for the bags on my lifted Honda Pilot (yes, I lifted a Pilot), and it has been stellar for almost five years.

You can get more details at Air Lift's build-a-kit wizard here.

Since we're here, I'll also share what I learned about the kit needed for the Eibach Load-leveling System (LLS) rear suspension. According to the tech guy I spoke to at Air Lift, and based on my spring dimensions (Ø3.25" x 7" [using Eibach +100 lbs springs, #1200.375.0225S, yielding ~1.5" of additional lift, pending on the phase of the moon]), I'd want #60724. (Which is actually for a Ford Focus wagon (!), but it has the right bag size for my application.)

My 60724 kit and compressor arrive Tuesday. I can't start a new thread, so if anyone wants, I'll post the results back here (apologies in advance for watering down this Eibach thread with Air Lift stuff).

Good luck.

Eibach stage 1 shocks, Wheeler's (Eibach) T1/T13, SPC UCA, Energy Suspension 8.9104R bump stops up front. 3.5" Durobumps will be going in soon for the rear bumps.

I've had this setup installed for a little over 7 months now and I've been very happy with the way it rides.

your sig says you're running 265's? Is that correct? I have the same lift and my 265's look tiny. lol Trying to make a decision on new tires. Probably go with 285/70/17 KO2 C's. Just worried about acceleration and braking.

I am actually in the same boat -- it's been a while but with the circlip on the lowest setting do you move it to the second rung with addition of the bumper and winch combo?

Yes I'm running 265's currently. My wheels are -6 offset so that might make the tires look slightly bigger than they actually are. I'm in the same boat you are. I'll probably jump to 285's but I worry about the same things. The Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T standard load range 285 tires weigh in at 48 lbs. which isn't much more than my current C load 265 KO2's. With what I use my 4runner for, I think standard load would be just fine so that's the way I'm leaning right now.

285/70/17 KO2 load C are 51 pounds according to the discount tire web site. My coopers are all seasons and weigh 40 pounds. Lol. That’s a pretty big difference.

Anyone running dobinson coils with eibach struts? I'm running c59300 dobs springs set on the bottom notch on the eibach struts, I'm trying to give it another .5" of lift, should just bump it up to the next notch up?

Before after with Eibach Pro Truck lift. Was worried about butt sag but looks great to me. The drive is great. One of the things I chose Eibach for was that it was supposed to feel close to stock and not too stiff. It doesn't feel stiff at all just tighter. Still very comfortable just less lean and nose dive.

Got the full kit installed a couple of weeks ago on my ‘16 Trail. I decided to go with JBA UCAs while I had it apart. After 500 miles, the ride is much better, but can be stiff at times with the KDSS. Overall I’m happy with it, the stability at speed is a huge improvement. The alignment shop set me at 4° of caster on each side. The tires are 275 Wildpeaks that I’ve had for about 30,000 miles now.

2021 ORP, Eibach Stage 1 kit, JBA's and 285 Open Country AT3s.
Only trimmed the front bumper, kept the mud flaps. Caster is 5.0 and 5.1
Rides great, tiny UCA tire rubs in reverse.

I really like the way yours turned out, and have been thinking of getting this kit for my truck as well. Were there any specific challenges you faced getting it installed with the KDSS system?

Another happy Eibach customer here. Installed my kit a couple weeks ago and just put some 275/70-17 BFG KO2s on it this weekend. No rubbing so far, but it’s reeeeeeally close in the front with the wheel turned all the way.
