I think it's just smart business sense to sell the D558's for both the Tacoma and 4runner. One product that covers two models. They've proven for years to work just fine on the 4runners. And let's face it, they do have almost identical front suspensions to the 1st gen tacomas. But MStudt is correct, those are definitely not specifically designed for 4runners. But the Toytec rep never said they were. All he said is that he can sell you a shock that is specifically made for our 4runners, AKA the 24-248730. Who know's, maybe they keep those in stock too and just don't have them on the website because they'd rather keep a large inventory of just one of the two shocks. I'm sure he'd be happy to sell the 24-248730 to you or any one else. They are a distributor, they can pretty much sell any bilstein product. Just playing devils advocate here. :biggrin2:
