Electrical Help - Please!

First let me say when it comes to electrical crap I'm an idiot so be gentle with me and talk to me as you would a child.

I can change a bulb so decided to replace the burned out bulbs in the HVAC control. Pop it out, replace the bulbs, pop it back in. Yeah I can do that. It is seated properly.

Apparently I can't because now the bulbs don't work but nothing else does either. No fan control, no heat, no a/c and oddly enough no turn signals.

I did search and some people mentioned the dome light circuit but mine works as does the clock and passenger airbag light on the right side of the display. The 115V button does not work now either.

Is there a connection between the HVAC display/controls and the turn signals? The emergency flashers work so I know the bulbs, etc are fine.

I did check all the fuses and they appear fine though I'm not aware of which specific fuse it may be. I checked under the hood as well and all fuses look good.

So my question is WTF happened?

Is there a fuse I missed, bad relay, did I screw up that circuit by replacing a couple bulbs? I've seen the price so it has to be something simple I've missed. I sure hope so.

Fixed. While the IG1 (15a) fuse looked good it wasn't. Not sure what Toyota was thinking labeling that fuse Ig1 (Ignition 1?) but it wasn't related to the ignition at all.

Supporting my own theory that I'm an idiot when it comes to electrical stuff.

Chris, there are several fuses that are energized when the ignition switch is in the "ignition" or "On" position, Ig1 being one of them. As you already know, this is the fuse that supplies power to the turn signal relay circuit, heater control panel, and inverter relay among other things.

I get it now Don, the good thing is that it was a fuse and now I understand that "ignition" means "on" which is good to know.

I can't tell in the daylight but it doesn't look like my new bulbs are lighting the panel. Maybe I'll be surprised by that next.
