hey guys

i need to track down what this bulb socket goes to and where to find one ASAP. I've been looking for about an hour and a half with no luck and i need someones expertise.

heres what it looks like. i have no other information.

looks like the closest match is the 4th gen turn signal socket. looks like i need to make a trip to Toyota tomorrow.. ugh

Now I am also confused. I am not sure what side you are looking for or what you are looking for. I thought you wanted to ID the socket type. It looks like it is a 3156 or 3157 socket, which would go to a 3156 or 3157 lamp. Probably wrong and, I guess, is no help at all. :redface:

Where did the socket come from? Why do you need another one?

Did you check all the lights to make sure they are working on your 4Runner? (Maybe help you figure out where it goes?)

Lol it's not from my truck, I need another one for it. The front indicators on the new headlights use different bulbs and bases than the previous.

The previous years use single filament bulbs with two pin connectors, on the 14+ they went to a dual filament blade type connector with 3 wires for a running light and turn indicator.

So beciase the 14+ are 3 wire and use a different connector I need to find one more of these bases to complete the rebuild of my truck once and for all

Will,
So your rebuild of the front end now requires/uses the 14' headlight assembly.
So what you are looking for is the Parking Light / Turn Signal Socket for a 2014 that uses a 7444NA Bulb?

Nope. The bases for the turn indicators for those headlight housings came with the head lights, but they're 3 prong and a different connector. I found this base in the OP that works perfect so I don't have to modify my harness. I need to find out what and where it came from (I found it in a box at the body shop and they only had one and were clueless) and what the part number is so I can buy it, wrap this up and share the information with anyone else that wants to do this stupid endeavor.

Ok, I follow now.....
Probably won't be as easy as I thought..........unless someone recognizes it right off!
