hi everyone..

I have a few questions about switches from otrattw.

I'm going to be swapping out the bulbs of the hella micro de to hid h3 3000k bulbs.. since my puppy chewed up the wires when he was young..

I'm looking to replace the wiring harness with the rigid industries instead of the hella ones..

currently i have this switch with this wiring..

but i want one with double led. and this is where I'm having problems.. i want to replace the rigid's rocker switch with an otrattw rocker..

but the rigid harness only comes with 3 wires and from this wiring diagram.

the wiring harness comes wired for

7-Lower light neg -
2-Incoming from power source
3-outgoing - to relay, accessory or equip.

but i need wires for these 2..

8-upper light neg.
6-lower light pos.

where can i get an wiring harness wired for all of the above? cause half the time i forget to turn my rigid's off during day time.. I want something to indicate the fog lights are on..

or should i abandon this idea and go with an oem fog light switch?

The lower light positive is so the switch is lit when you turn on your lights. You won't find a premade harness with that in it. The second ground can be jumpered from the first, or just run a wire directly to ground.

So basically if you want to trigger that light on the positive side you just need a tail lamp circuit hot for the positive, and find a ground anywhere.

If you want to trigger it like Toyota does, find connector 13, which is the connector for the stalk switch in the steering column. Connect the red with with white stripe wire at T14 to the GROUND at terminal 8 on your switch. Then just connect T6 on your switch to the power source in your harness.
