Electronic Buzzing Sound After Brake Pedal Depressed [Video]

I used the search bar looking for someone that had posted a video with a similar sound occurring after the brake pedal is depressed. It typically occurs at low speeds in parking lots, but also occurs randomly at freeway speeds. I took my truck into the local Toyota dealer about a year ago and then couldn't diagnose anything. The sound is getting more frequent as time goes on. Does anyone know what is causing this/how to get the sound to go away?

Wondering the same. Mine started happening after I did the vsc/trac switch mod. Before that, never an issue.

Sounds like the ABS system is activating, but it shouldn't be that "chirpy". If you have a dirt/gravel/snowy road available, try slamming on the brakes to activate the ABS and compare the two sounds.

That's a warning something is wrong with your brake system. Try swapping a used master cylinder and see if that helps. You should avoid driving it or at least be extra careful. You might loose your brake suddenly.

Hmmm that is unsettling. It's been making that noise for about a year now with no performance issues and I have had my brakes checked with no issues spotted. When my truck makes the noise I think I can feel it in the brake pedal ever so slightly almost like a lightest amount of ABS. I'll check the ABS on the snow tomorrow.
