Ellis Precision (shift knobs) sold out?

Last few times i've checked Ellis Precision, to purchase one of their sweet shift knobs, they have been sold out. It appears almost the entire site is "sold out." Does anyone know if they are going out of business? Or just waiting to re-stock? Tried contacting customer service with no reply. Really want to get one of their shifters, such a cool aesthetic mod.

I ordered a set of their aluminum knobs recently and they shipped tout suite - had them in less than a week.

I cannot say what delay you may encounter, but my order was expedient.

I'm kicking myself. I had a pewter set sitting in the cart for a week but I was talking to the owner via chat one night about a project (below) and he said there might be a boxing day sale...there wasn't, so I figured I would wait. I shouldn't have waited.

I was checking to see how much it would cost to machine a shifter like this.

Oh, the answer was "too much."

"I made a lot of modifications myself..."

Actually, a shifter like that would be easy to machine. The only tricky part would be the knurling. But from a business standpoint, it is a lot of steps, plus tool changes, and a time-consuming finish pass. So easy, but not cost effective.

Appreciate the responses, i'll get on that list. Such a cool little mod.. it's worth the wait. Thanks again.

Yep, get on the list or contact them directly.
Super cool product and great service. Always got a response and willing to work on custom images also. Highly recommended
