Emergency brake HELP

[1998 Runner]

Just acquired a center console from a 2000 limited, I have a 98 SR5, by looking at the 2 consoles side by side it looks like the limited is over to the right a few inches.

Is it possible and how to move brake handle to the right to accommodate the 2000 console??

I've seen several detailed write ups on this but don't recalll the exact name. Did you search? Cup holder mod or center console mod maybe. It's out there.

You just need to get the e brake lever from the 99+ 4runner, it bolts in the same holes and uses the same cable.
