Ill be sure to post up all the stuff i have in the runner (its a lot) but how are you guys carrying all this stuff? I use a Remington trunk that water proof Remington SIA 760D Heavy Duty Weathertight Storage Trunk | Academy its held up great for everything ive put it through and its sturdy enough to double as a camp bench.

Mine used to look like that and I hated not being able to fit anything else in the back so now I try to cram everything in that box

I have a 72 hour bag for getting home for my wife and I in my 4Runner. Need to take the protection out of the safe and carry it more often in my rig. I hate working 30miles from home and the only route home is the freeway and I'm up in the Redwood curtain. I don't want to have to hike the woods home. My bad back would do me in before I ever got there.
I keep a trauma bag in the back of my rig. Being a former Boy Scout and first responder never leaves you.

IMO what the Boy Scouts are learning now isn't as good as it used to be. Now it's more simple things just to keep the kids entertained. Every Boy Scout I've camped with or around struggled doing basic survival techniques and even camp chores. It used to be so much better.....

It's a shame really. They used to teach morals and respect for others, but I've had kids running around my tent at 2 am with their dads playing tag at the campsite.

Yeah BSA has gone down the drain. But I learned so much when I was in. Those skills prepare you for everything in life. I went camping with my buddies youth group and I was asked to come along for my outdoor knowledge. I started a fire with flint and Steel and the kids were amazed. They couldn't start a fire with matches. And don't get me started on them running around with knives open.

So where do you non first responders get your medical stuff from. I do a lot of hiking, camping, need to get back into mountain biking more. But I just have a basic first aid kit would like to keep a little bit better kit with me. I also always have a couple knives, gerber multi tool, water proof lighter(is kind of a joke), diapers and baby wipes(I'm a dad), dslr,GoPro, MacBook, iPad, for navigation, and my springfield xdm. That's is always on me or not far from me.

Understand that dad part always ready to clean a kid up ! Funny about the mountain bike I just dug my rock hopper out took it to the local bike shop and had it tuned back up to do the same thing. I was looking through the pre-made kits at Wally World and they have gotten pretty high tech or could build a nice one from their medical supply area as well if you don't have a local medical supply place close! I'm a Springfield man as well have a mil spec 1911 and a xds 45. Welcome post so pics of of what you put together!
