empty gas light burnt out?

I was driving along and the empty light which was on, turned off. The gauge still works, the mileage shows up on the center console, but there is no warning light anymore. interior fuses seem fine. Given how specific it is, I'm guessing the led/bulb burnt out. Ever heard of this?

Thanks!

When it's on the brink of on/off, slight variations or inclines based on where you started can affect its accuracy. I bet it's fine.

How far did you drive after the light went out before getting gas?

I have had my low fuel light come on after taking a sharp turn and then go out again after stopping and turning off the engine at a store and starting the truck again to continue to the gas station on my way home, the light still works.

If you got gas shortly after the light went off you will only know for sure once you get low on fuel again.

You need to be at like 15 mile range for it to turn on, usually on other cars it would turn on with 50-75 mile range. When I first got the vehicle I thought the same that it did not work until one day I said " either you turn on or we will run out of gas" :)
