I'm turning 18 in less than a month. I already have the money for my FFL and a beautiful AR-15 carbine with red dot sights.
I'm confused (That's nothing new) Why the need for an FFL? Are you opening your own gun shop?

The FFL is a federal firearms license. Everyone that owns a gun needs one, unless they got a hunting license or something.

I know what an FFL is. That's why I asked. An FFL is only for those persons or companies who are either involved in the manufacture or sale of firearms or ammunition. Unless otherwise prohibited by an order (Your insane, Youve been convicted of a major crime....) To buy a firearm requires that you only have a pulse.
Up here in the Great White North, Yes, you need a Federal license to own firearms. Unless the NRA disappeared overnight, I'm sure you can walk into your local gun shop and pick up a nice warm AR.

I used to fuel aircraft. You might not be able to run 100LL, but I don't see any reason why it won't run on jetA. It's just aviation grade kerosene. Best part is, jetA is widely available.

Not true. A FFL is necessary only if you intend to sell guns to others. An FFL dealer takes your information when you purchase a weapon and sends it to the feds to do a background check you. If everything checks out you get your gun. I guess I speak for Texas. Others can chine in for their states if the laws are different but I'm pretty sure the only laws prohibited by states are the right to carry. I'm a life time NRA member and have a Texas CHL license FWIW.

As far as the end of the world, I have guns, training, fitness, and the will to live.
Everything else I need will be readily available when stupid people are busy whacking each other, partying, and looting the planet; I was there during Katrina and watched common sense take a backseat to greed and the mob mentality. It was good intel.

FFL is for those people that a). want to buy/sell/manufacture guns to the public and b) for those people that wish to own an automatic. An FFL is not necessary to own a firearm otherwise.

My bad on the FFL intel. I've been looking at many different gun laws for two states, so I often confuse myself on which license I need to get and what firearms I can buy. I'll just go to Mass Firearm Academy and do their course. Can't wait to get a gun. I have a feeling that stuff is gunna get really bad in the next few years. I might be paranoid and pessimistic at times, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Sounds like you're a prime candidate to enjoy that new show "Doomsday Preppers" on the NGC channel. I haven't seen it yet to tell if it's got some actual cool info, or just a bunch of overly paranoid ChickenLittle gold & ammo hoarding Unabomber weirdos. Might have to check it out...

Not sure of the reason but BIG red sticker on dash says "No aviation grade fuel" It is an ex-air force truck.

People have had that feeling since the beginning of time. It is always good to prep for the worst scenario, but don't let it interfere with enjoying life in the meantime.
Don't get me wrong, check my username - I have (more than) a few firearms, LOTS of ammo, and a good bit of training, but I spend about 15 minutes of time and money per month on those interests.

This preparedness isn't going to take over my life haha. I'm much more of a procrastinator.
I'm spending much more of my time running and expanding my business. Loads more fun too!

Pics (except the one with the H2), make it look shorter than it is. I'm curious what chassis/suspension it is, or completely new ground-up? Add a little more lift maybe, and definitely remove those siderails...
