Energy Poly Sway Bar Bushings Lasted 8 Months

prothane all the way.

Im debating ordering a set of prothane bushings or our house brand that I can get for a whopping 8 bucks.

I was about to ask about prothane. How are their parts holding up?

i have mines for a while, i use greaseable ones and use the prothane grease, i bought the big tube and it works good, so tacky and it holds up better than lucas red and tacky grease. i just use the lucas on my driveshaft and its fine on that, but on bushings i use the prothane.

About 20k on my Prothane greaseable bushings and they are still perfect.

And here is the new toy I got to use. 700 ft/lb tighten and 1200 ft/lb loosen torque!!

My friends as well as this forum has warned me about Energy but that was only after I bought them. I recently installed them along with a pair of Moog end links which turned out to be 555 and the Runner feels like new even though the stock rubbers didn't show much sign of wear. I will see how long they last but at the moment I am extremely happy.

Mine are holding up fine and everybody who has aftermarket UCA's runs ES bushings. Maybe the lock collar would of helped or maybe you got the wrong size? was it play left to right or floating in the bushing.

Hmmm those "failed" bushings look pretty dark, did you use the correct grease ?

The urethane grease is damm near clear and tacky as hell, petro and urethane do not get along

Yes, I used the clear Daystar grease. Most of that is Chiraq road grime.
