engine light, VSC trac, VSC off?

Many different things can cause this to happen. It's the trucks way of telling you something is not right. 1st time mine did that I unpluged the battery for a a bit pluged it back in and it went away. It also happened when I had to replace my CC. I bet it's a sensor or something. Only way to know 4sure is to plug it into a computer and read whats going on. Good luck.
Thanks. That's what I figured. I had one O2 sensor replaced a year or so ago. I'm wondering if the other might have gone bad.

Mine used to come on before my lift. It's an 04 All-time 4wd Sport. It would also "knuckle" real hard when pulling into a parking spot, even tho I wasn't in 4L. I would put it in 4H and drive in reverse for 30-40- yards cutting the wheel all the way right and left. That's what i found to do in a similar thread. Wierd, but it worked for me.

I don't know if the CEL means something else. I forget what mine does when it needs calibration.

I can't remember the exact combination of warning lights that illuminated
but I've had a loose gas cap a couple of times that the truck read as a
sensor warning/failure.
You haven't gassed up in the last day or so, have you? If so, check the
cap and then wait a couple of days and it should go out. IIRC, there's
some number of engine starts required before the software resets.

I gassed up on Monday, so I doubt it is a loose gas cap. But I'll check that when I leave work.
M1911, since you've got a CEL, stop by your nearest Autozone/AdvanceAuto type place and get the code read before you pull the batter to clear. It's worth the trouble to find out what the truck thinks or thought was wrong.
The VSC/TRAC lights will come on with almost any code. Since they're safety features, Toyota disables them in the event that whatever triggered the code might remotely interfere with their function.

I don't have the time or skill. And the truck has a bad wheel bearing that they are fixing while they have it.
