engine swap possible? need quick answer please

ok i have the chance to get a 4.0 engine brand new from a 1993 jeep cher, they just replaced it and the kid wrecked it, if i get the engine, transmission and transfercase would it be possible to swap it into a 1990 toyota 4-runner with a 3.0 v6 in it?

it is always hard to swap a domestic into an import. consider that the ENTIRE wiring harness wouldnt match at all, and driveline lengths, or mounting points would most likely bedifferent. it would be a LOT of febrication and money. its up to you if the effort is worth running a mopar engine

You're making a monster! Why don't you just buy it back and install it in some1 else's car and make enough money for a 3.4 swap. You should at least keep it toyota! What about smog?

im not 100% certain on this answer, but people swap I-6 yota engines (5mge(t), 6mge(t), 7mge(t), 1jz g(tt)e, 2jz g(tt)e) commonly, so my answer is if the block is the same or around the same size, and nothing would interfere (alternator, or other such things, then i woul imagine it would fit with major fabbing

I was going to do a 350 swap and i found a website Advanceadapters.com they had bell housing and motor mount not sure if they had one for a jeep though
