Cool, thanks!

I did the update a few days ago on my '13 Limited. Hopefully it will fix the reboot issue I've been having. It's happened three times so far. I'll be listening to MP3s via a USB stick and the headunit will go blank, then reboot. The music stops during the reboot, of course. I haven't played with the navigation in it yet, so I can't say if it reboots while using that too.
i'm not sure if there is a limit to the size or number of mp3s on a ipod or usb stick. (i vaguely remember reading about it in the manual somewhere)
i know i've had problems when i fill up my ipod classic (i think it's 6th gen) with 60 out of 80 gigs of music.
the problem being that the headunit in general gets wonky. like bluetooth not working. things locking up. i haven't experienced reboots though.
i have 10 or 20 gigs of music on there and it's been ok and has been for about a year.
maybe you can try using the headunit and entunes without the usb stick or have less music on there and see if that changes anything. curious to know if that fixes it for you.
also, has anyone else experienced these issues when putting a large number of mp3s on a usb stick or ipod?
I've been reading others talking about their vehicles chirping when new txt msgs come through with their iphones connected. I haven't found that to be the case. Anyone else? I see there's option for txt msgs on the screen but nothing more than that.
I did the update the other week, everything went smooth. But this evening I noticed my nav still will not go to night mode even though I have the setting to "automatic". Any suggestions?
Is the dash lighting rheostat switch clicked to bright ?
Update on this...
The rebooting issue continues as much or more than before the update, so it didn't help with it, unfortunately. Sometimes, the music (via USB stick) will keep playing but the controls freeze up (track changing buttons non-responsive, etc) or the screen goes blank. The only way to recover is to shut the vehicle off and start it up again. It's not worth a separate trip to the dealer, but I'll have to add it to the short list of issues for a future visit.

Question - would my brand new (March 2014) trail premium come with Entune 3.2 factory installed? How can I tell if it's already installed or if I should do the update described here?
